Lily ER Story

She fell off of an Elmo ride at Babies R Us on July 3rd and was fine until July 4th she developed a fluid pocket on the side of her head. She hit the back of her head, but the fracture is on the side from the impact. The doctor said she will be okay and that a lot of children have skull fractures and don't even know it. I just happened to catch it because I rub her bald head all the time. So far, she has had two CT scans and a whole body x-ray. Hopefully there will be no more x-rays, I can't handle seeing her mummified anymore, it breaks my heart to see my little girl scared and confused. We pray that her fracture heals and there are no complications.
